Intent & Purpose
Our intent is somewhat cliché' (not that we mind): to encourage everyone to be happy, in an atmosphere that is
"FUN, SUN & SOCCER!!!"
Thankfully, with the support of incredible friends and families, the spirit has flourished. Julie and I feel lucky to step out onto the field and see the sea of smiling faces. It's inspiring and infectious.
Our Purpose is to educate, learn and support in a positive manner. Encouragement goes a long way, and we take pride in sharing with your children's challenges and celebrating their success with them. They deserve our attention. Not only because they have an infinite amount of wisdom to offer us and are kind enough to share it, but they have the inherent need to love and be loved. We feel lucky to be able to celebrate the exchange. It's heartwarming and humbling.
We've had a nice time growing into this terrific community, thank you for being a part of it and making it come to life!
Justin & Julie
Justin and Julie are originally from the Midwest. They met in Chicago in Fitzgerald fashion, at the West Egg, where it was love-at-first-bite-of-the-bagel. She was travelling through after spending time in Seattle, he was looking for his next big role in tights. A product of Southfield, MI, Julie now has a limited threshold for the cold and together they love being out in the sun (with sunscreen, of course). She's taken to yoga and dance, while he loves to surf and golf. They both love to spend oodles of time with their dogs, Charlie and Sadie, who've managed to, respectively, chew through several seat belts and couches. Sometimes the kibble just isn't enough!
SoccerKidsUSA
has been a godsend for them; a community that has truly come together to appreciate the spirit of raising kids. "Thank you for letting us be part of it!" J&J

Coach Adam Yassaman
Coach Adam has been playing soccer as far back as he can remember. Ever since he could kick a ball, he has enjoyed getting out in the fresh air and playing! He grew up just north of LA, went to school at UCLA, and now resides on the west side; an LA boy, born and raised! He comes from a family of teachers and currently teaches middle school math and PE in Woodland Hills. He spends much of his week daydreaming about
SoccerKidsUSA
, and has put out an official challenge to any parent wanting to take him on in the skill game, "Crossbar Challenge", between sessions!

Coach Jordan El-Saden
Coach Jordan is a native son, Laker fan, UCLA grad. He's a smart cookie and pretty funny when it comes right down to it. He's slowly becoming a techy, while working for Mogreet Co. A good natural athlete, he's got a prety good jump shot to go with his kick. When he's not spending long hours at work, or with us on the field, you might very well see him at his favorite weekend lunch spot: Marty's on Pico. Rumor has it he scripted his initials in the concrete when they broke ground (though we're not sure he was born yet)!

Coach Lauren Whitted
Coach Lauren Whitted started playing soccer in elementary school and has played on a team or for recreation ever since. She's moved around a lot. After finishing college, she couldn't ignore the call from incredible Southern California. Most recently coming from Texas (don't let her lack of an accent fool you) Lauren has called LA home for a year and a half. When not doing the workweek shuffle, she likes to spend her time hiking, going to the beach, trying to find her way around LA, and cooking. Just don't ask her to make apple cider. One day, she hopes to go see Arsenal FC play in Emirates."
P.S. She's a great defender - good luck getting past her!!
